Just doing a general poll to see if people with BPD are more likely to be a certain type (and if that fits the general population average). I'm letting you guys choose two options in case you have trouble picking between two, since unstable personalities is part of BPD!
And don't worry if you're a rare type. I rarely ever meet a fellow borderline who is ESTP, which is my definite personality type.

Very much an INFJ! I'm INFJ to the core, actually, aha. One of the few things I'm reasonably sure about identity wise.

i have no idea myself, no matter which test i take i either can't finish it because the questions are too hard for me to answer or if i do get to a result what i read about it doesn't sound like me at all, and i'll have a lot of near 50%s. idk. i feel like the only letters that describe my personality are BPD lol

^ tbh none of those really mean anything to me? i dunno... but to be honest, i don't really subscribe to the theory behind MBTI so i find it somewhat difficult to care about, for some of the same reasons i find astrology, etc., difficult to care about - maybe i'm subconsciously making myself think i don't fit into any category to confirm my own biases

Tbh I always struggled with personality quizzes because they never seemed consistent... life was a lot easy when I started seeing them as fun rather than scientific. I'm an INFJ though! Apparently it's the 'counsellor', or something

I'm an INFJ who for a long time thought they were an INFP. Looking at the cognitive functions confirmed that for me. Se is definitely my inferior function.
I do think there is a strong bias against Sensor types on the internet however and that means there are more self-identified Intuitive types then there actually are. Which is sad, as I love ISFJs, my boyfriend is one!

^I've noticed this too! I'm aggressively Se (hence ESTP), and people seem to be biased against sensor types. Meh. S's are cool. We're cool. Really. :P

i'm more of an XXFX because every time i take a test it's a different result, but if i go through each category and just simply choose one based on the definitions i think i'm an ENFJ!

And so I remain the only S-type so far. Where y'all at...

I'm INFJ but it's strange because I actually feel extroverted. Interacting with people I like gives me energy. Being alone is extremely psychologically taxing. But also spending time with people I don't know or dislike is also taxing to me.

Im an xnfp, so depending on the wuestions, I'll get a point or two higher in eithe rintorversion or extroversion, but more often I land as infp! Looking at the functions I still feel caught in between intro & extroversion D: I love people and get pumped up being around them, but I also love to be alone and get energized by myself :/
