Hello everyone! I'm Exo and I answer questions on SBD (link).
I moderate anonymously on SBD, so you can't contact me privately via tumblr, but feel free to send me a message here on the forums instead.
I'm 23, white, Australian and nonbinary (he / him pronouns). I'm aromantic and grey asexual / pansexual. I consider myself a Chaotic Neutral Slytherin.
I was professionally diagnosed with BPD in April 2015. I currently describe myself as having Mixed Personality Disorder, as I have several PDs but I'm not entirely sure which. I have chronic pain (Fibromyalgia) and an eating disorder (Avoidant / Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), and I've been diagnosed with every mood and anxiety disorder at least once but I'm not sure that I agree with any of them. I also suspect that I'm autistic.
I experience 8 of 9 symptoms of BPD (link), lacking fear of abandonment (although I don't split a lot either). I'm usually more towards the low empathy side of things, as well.
I'm qualified as a disability support worker. However, I rarely leave my house due to my own disabilities. I spend a lot of time reading about self advocacy and disability activism. I'm in therapy and not on medication.
I'm very interested in personality disorders and to a lesser extent other mental and neurodevelopmental conditions as well. I noticed we already have several other members who like birds, count me one of those too - here's my favourite bird (link). I also like art and sinking way too many hours into Skyrim. I've been undertaking hormone therapy for 2 years now.
I may not be too active on here in the immediate future as I'm moving out of my parents' home for the first time by the end of this month, so that's taking up a lot of my energy. If you want me to see a post (eg you're replying to one of my SBD answers, or you just want my input specifically), you can use the site's notification system. Just write @.exo (minus the full stop) somewhere in your post!
Thank you all for the support you've given my answers on tumblr, I look forward to reading everyone's contributions to the SBD community!
