Hey everyone! My name is Jael. I'd like to preface this by saying that I really struggle with introductions and writing about myself in general so this might be a little bit disjointed, but hopefully we'll get there.
I live on the Gold Coast, Australia. I work as a receptionist at a small company and am very grateful to have a flexible and understanding work environment. I am also a very passionate barista although that's just a hobby now.
I am in a beautiful relationship and without that I would be completely lost. We're currently looking to move into a new house so that we can get a puppy!
It's hard to say what I like, as my interests fluctuate in accordance with the people I spend time with and I don't really know what I enjoy over substantial periods of time.
I speak French to a passable level.
I find great joy in spending time with animals, my favourites being; bunnies, cows, puppies, ducks and rats.
I love philosophy and astronomy.
My boyfriend and I. Feel free to talk to me at any time! Here, kik or tumblr.
Anyway, that's some sort of insight as to who I am I guess. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi, Jael! Welcome to the forum!
That's such a beautiful photo of you and your boyfriend. I love the ocean (even if it scares me a little) and could never live somewhere I wasn't at least a 30-minute drive away. Getting a puppy is also very exciting!

Hi! Welcome to the forum.
I adore animals too, I've had a dog in the past and it's an experience I recommend to everyone who wants them/can afford them. I hope you can get your puppy!

MeaThank you! The ocean is terrifying but it's beautiful. I'm lucky to live so close, even if I rarely do go to the beach. AnnaI'm very excited! I've had dogs growing up but I've never had my own, so that's going to be really special. anankeIt's a huge stress of my shoulders having somewhere that accommodates to my mental health! I wish everyone with difficulties working yet still wanting to could be in environments like mine. Do you have a favourite philosopher? Thank you all for responding and making me feel welcome!
