There have been multiple studies about the use of the Five Factor Model (FFM) being used to predict the presence of a personality disorder. This model of personality examination studies five traits in a person. - Openness to Experience
- Conscientiousness
- Extraversion
- Agreeableness
- Neuroticism
People with personality disorders tend to have high neuroticism and low agreeableness, and the other three traits have been used to predict which personality disorder a person has. You can take a test here. www.personalitytest.org.uk/

Anonymous asked: you posted about the ffm? and like high Neuroticism and low Agreeableness are common in those with pds but the others vary? do you know what the others align with? like which combinations are commom in which pds?
Answer: It varies depending on the PD, and you can probably google each individual PD. Unfortunately, the May 18th post was already late, so I didn’t have time to do that research and add it to the post because I wanted to get it up as soon as possible. (I’m also still answering questions and updating the FAQ again.)
However, I can say that with BPD, one can have either high or low extroversion, and people with BPD tend to have high openness and low conscientousness.
